Head north for 15-20 minutes on foot, and you'll be right in the heart of the city's charming, historic downtown. There, you can check out unique local shops, have a coffee at River Rock Coffee or pay a visit to the Arts Center of Saint Peter. The walk is very flat and safe, and it provides a nice little slice of small-town Minnesota life.
